I’m a Product Designer on the Loop Design System team, where I co-create and maintain a user-centric, token-based, tri-brand design system that supports multiple platforms and serves a community of over 650 users. My work draws on strengths in problem-solving, methodical thinking, and a sharp eye for detail to ensure quality and consistency across every aspect of the system.
I’ve made strategic contributions helping define our core principles, accelerate adoption and contribution, and improve the system’s structure, service patterns, and token architecture. I introduced processes for prioritising our component backlog by synthesising insights from analytics across Storybook, GitHub, Flutter, and Figma, combined with community research and feedback gathered in cross-disciplinary workshops I facilitated.
Collaboration is a key part of my practice. I partner with DesignOps to develop training programmes for designers and developers, promote best practices, and improve ways of working. I also regularly mentor designers and apprentices, helping them build interpersonal and technical skills through hands-on guidance, critical thinking, and tailored onboarding. I’ve created custom Figma training across varying disciplines and skill levels, and facilitated workshops for large, diverse audiences.
I bring experience working both independently and within cross-functional teams, using Agile and Lean methodologies in dynamic, hybrid environments. I lead end-to-end project delivery - from strategy to design, optimising for omnichannel experiences and addressing a wide range of user needs across B2B and B2C products. My approach is grounded in achieving business goals while carefully separating user needs from wants.
I’ve presented to board-level stakeholders and collaborated with a wide spectrum of teams, including engineering, product, accessibility, design systems, SEO, content and service design - to ensure solutions are inclusive, effective, and scalable.
...other things I love are skateboarding, cycling, golf and ice hockey ...and really hot food!

Design philosophy
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm
When tasked with a challenge I immerse myself so I can understand the core problem we’re trying to solve. Knowing this helps me make informed decisions and build enthusiasm for creating the best experience.
Clear experiences over unpredictability
As designers, our goal is not to eliminate complexity or friction, but rather create a clear, intuitive and understandable product experience. At times, this may mean adding thoughtful complexity.
We must constantly challenge our own assumptions
It’s easy to become over-confident in our ideas and opinions.
Rigorous iteration and testing can help bring clarity and confidence to the work. How I work
!
Step 1
Research
Understanding more about the problem space, considering potential solutions and learning about the consumer.
Step 2
Principles
Crafting design principles to help guide project and experience decisions, and ensure alignment amongst the team.
Step 3
User journey
Diving deep into the user journey, mapping it and exploring user stories, personas, channels and user decision making.
Step 4
Design exploration
Delving deep and exploring a range of possible solutions. Testing (test test test), iterating, discussing and working through the problem.
Step 5
Design refinement
Refining a chosen direction and polishing visual design, preparing designs for engineering handoff and documenting decisions made.
Step 6
Handoff and test
Working closely with engineering to ensure a successful handoff and implementation process.
Step 7
Monitoring
Just because a project is live doesn’t mean the work is done. I work with data and analytics teams and tools to monitor its performance to discover ideas for optimisation and improvement.
I create experiences that empower, inspire and delight people with imaginative and elegant solutions for web, apps and emerging technologies.
